The Young Galaxy Collection
We all have special moments we remember, when our senses have been heightened. This happened to me at a music festival called Riverfest Elora in 2013.
After the crowds dissipated from Bissell Park, I remember feeling elated by what I had just experienced, and even though my ears were ringing, I felt a tremendous sense of silence.
Then I looked up. What I saw was midnight black, dotted with more stars than I had ever seen. It took my breath away, and at that moment, I was truly happy.
In 2014 I returned to Riverfest with a singular pendant to honour that experience. That year, Young Galaxy were performing and it was then that I decided to dedicate an entire collection to indy music and starry skies.
Black glass isn’t black at all, it is deep purple.
